It's that time of year to start thinking about #holiday gifts. If you start early, you can be intentional with your gift-giving. I love gifts with stories attached. I just love gifts; it's one of my #love languages!
For example, I recently wanted to leave a gift with the unit that had invited me for a #Gullah presentation. Because I had a few months to think and prepare, I was able to gift the Center a #sweetgrass #ornament that had been made by the young son of the sweetgrass artisan who made the earrings I wore that evening.
I had a story to share because not only was the gift rare, but also purchased directly from its producer.
As I presented the gift, I could share that story as a sign of hope for the preservation of the #culture!
